Banu had to work yesterday and Shakthi and I went to the 'Founders day' 75-th year celebration of the foundation of Berkeley Nat. Labs.
Shakthi got a nice pair of safety glasses which she is showing off here.
It was a nice day.

See here a transvestite on a public bench in Amsterdam opposite of the 'Rookerij' close to Muntplein.
This bench (or actually the one next to it) was the usual place where two friends and me used to chill during our pub (or sometimes city) crawls.
To celebrate the succesfull PhD defense of a friend of mine, we had a commemorative plate placed on this bench.
